TENDER NOTICE

          On behalf of the President of India, the Surveyor General of India, Survey of India, Hathibarkala Estate, Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand,Pin-248001, Telephone 091-0135-2106390, Fax 091-0135-2744064, E-mail: sgo@nde.vsnl.net.in invites sealed tender for mapping on 1:10,000 Scale with 2M contour interval using High Resolution Stereo Satellite Imagery covering Bihar and parts of AP & Orissa (Total area 2.12 Lakh Sq.Km. approx.) through outsourcing. The Vendors will be required to carry out 2D Stereo feature extraction on 1:10,000 scale with 2M contour interval from High Resolution Stereo Satellite Imagery as per the data model structure and symbology and will deliver DEM with 1M accuracy, ortho photos, quality controlled and edge matched data on 1:10,000 scale in UTM projection on WGS 84 datum.

          The tender document can be purchased from the Office of the Surveyor General of India, Survey of India, with a request letter against payment of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) per tender by Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalised/ Scheduled Bank payable at Dehra Dun in favour of “Establishment & Accounts Officer, Surveyor General’s Office, Survey of India” on all working days (Monday to Friday) between 0930 hrs and 1700 hrs. Tender document will be made available from 02 March 2009 to 02 April  2009. Last date for receipt for Tender is 1500 hrs on 02 April 2009. The tender document can also be downloaded for www.surveyofindia.gov.in website, in which case, while submitting the tenders, the fee of tender document should be enclosed in the form of a demand draft as per the particulars given above, without which the tender will be treated as invalid.
